Incredible $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
